A diving pool has been built in the cellar of a Victorian shop.
The Aqua Clinic has been constructed in the basement of diving instructor Garry Hudson’s shop, Duck and Dive, in Otley Road, Shipley, as a not-for-profit social enterprise to encourage disabled and disadvantaged people into the sport.
Mr Hudson invested £30,000 and secured loans of £120,000 for the pool, which is for hire to anyone including disabled groups, businesses and individuals.
For more information, contact the Aqua Clinic on (01274) 586633, e-mail pool@theaquaclinic.co.uk or visit theaquaclinic.co.uk.
