Fifteen varieties of beer brewed in Yorkshire can be sampled at an event to raise funds for repairs to a historic building.
Baildon Hall Club, in Hallfield Drive, Baildon, is hosting a beer festival to help maintain the Grade ll-listed medieval property.
“It is a building full of history – it is an asset to Baildon,” said club president Barbara Boyes. “The hall needs a lot of looking after. We are trying to raise as much as possible for the restoration fund.”
Next week’s two-day event follows the club’s successful spring beer festival in March.
The event is being held on Friday, August 20, from 7pm to 11pm, and Saturday, August 21, from noon to 11pm. For details call Barbara on (01274) 598728 or 588435.
