A Brighouse road will be free from major disruption for the Monday morning commute as gas works are completed on schedule.
Northern Gas Networks were due to complete the work today, in Huddersfield Road, replacing a section of the town’s feeder gas main with modern plastic piping.
Northern Gas Network’ Director of Communications John O’Grady said: “We carry out thousands of gas mains replacement schemes every year across the region and the majority are completed on time – this project is no exception.
“The area’s traders, road-users and residents have remained understanding throughout the work and we would like to thank them for showing us a great deal of patience.”
