Police today released e-fits of two suspects they want to trace in connection with a series of terrifying robberies which have left Bradford residents gripped by fear.

Police are linking four terrifying break-ins in eight days last month in the Heaton area of Bradford, as reported in the Telegraph & Argus.

Three masked Asian men dressed in dark clothing are thought to have been involved.

Detectives have now released images of two of the suspects and are urging anyone who recognises the men in the e-fit pictures to contact them as soon as possible.

The incidents happened in: lDuchy Crescent, between 1.20am and 1.40am on Saturday, June 12 lToller Drive between 2am and 5am on Tuesday, June 15 lAllerton Road just before 4am on Saturday, June 19 lBrantwood Crescent, between 7am and 7.30am on Sunday, June 20.

Cash and jewellery were taken in three of the raids.

In the Brantwood Crescent incident a family, including two young girls, were tied up by the knife-wielding masked raiders.

In the Toller Lane incident, a woman was tied up in her bedroom after intruders broke in and ransacked the house. A substantial amount of jewellery and £7,000 cash was stolen and the woman left traumatised.

Although the raids left the victims shocked and some suffering from minor injuries, nobody was seriously hurt.

Police revealed that two men, aged 27 and 31, have been arrested in connection with the incidents and bailed pending further inquiries.

Officers from the North Bradford Neighbourhood Policing Team have been conducting crime-prevention and reassurance work in the area and meeting with residents.

Detective Inspector John Mountain, of Airedale and North Bradford CID, said: “We are issuing new e-fits of suspects today. I ask anyone who thinks they know the persons pictured, or has information about them, to come forward.

“We have made arrests in connection with these linked robberies and are conducting a wide range of inquiries and working with the victims.
