The high standard of art education at Hill Top C of E Primary School, in Low Moor, Bradford, has been recognised with a national award.
Arts Council England has awarded the school the Artsmark Gold for the quality of lessons involving drama, music, design, literature, dance and sculpture.
Headteacher Des Martin, said: “I’m delighted that the Arts Council has recognised Hill Top’s dynamic arts education programme. Our children have really enjoyed working with a range of authors, dancers, musicians and artists, and I’d especially like to thank all our staff for their hard work in achieving this award.”
