A volunteering fair is being held in Ilkley later this month where sports clubs will invite people to spend an hour of their time helping them out in a voluntary capacity.
It takes place on Ilkley Grove on Saturday, July 24, from 10am to 2pm and has been organised by Bradford Council’s Leisure Services’ Volunteers in Sport project working in partnership with Wharfedale Activity Group.
Sports clubs who host a stall will be explaining to visitors what volunteering roles will be available that will benefit their club, such as painting the clubhouse or helping to coach a junior team.
