After an air conditioning engineer teamed up with a take-away operator, a new Asian restaurant has opened its doors – creating 12 jobs in the process.
Ash Khan decided to convert his Greengates take-away business into Paprika restaurant in partnership with Matthew Pickles.
The pair met whilst the air conditioning engineer was doing some work there.
They have invested around £120,000 converting the premises into a 60-seater restaurant specialising in Bangladeshi food.
The pair are confident the success of the take-away bodes well for the restaurant business.
Mr Pickles said: “We’ve already received huge interest from both existing and new customers and are hopeful that the restaurant will be successful .”
The restaurant in New Line was officially opened by former Lord Mayor of Bradford Coun John Godward.
