Hothfield Junior School at Silsden has received an overall ‘good’ grade from Ofsted inspectors.
The school, inspected at the end of May, was also deemed to have a ‘good’ capacity for sustained improvement.
The reporting inspector said despite a dip in standards two years ago, Hothfield had moved forward since the last inspection “under the talented leadership of the head teacher Ruth Leech and her staff”.
He added: “The care, guidance and support provided by the school are excellent.”
Hothfield School was given an ‘outstanding’ grade for the extent to which pupils adopted healthy lifestyles.
