Carnival colours filled Bradford city centre today as the Lord Mayor’s tiger-themed parade made its way through the streets.
For the first time the carnival parade was taking place at the same time as the Lord Mayor’s Civic Parade.
The two groups met at Hustlergate before heading towards Centenary Square.
Schools and community groups based their outfits on the tiger, to mark the fact there are fewer than 3,000 of the animals remaining in the wild.
The parade celebrated the 2010 International Year of Biodiversity.
