Fundraising father-of-three Ian Meek is preparing for his challenge of a lifetime in aid of a Bradford charity.
Despite undergoing chemotherapy for a brain tumour, this weekend Ian will tackle Britain’s highest peaks – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden, accompanied by 60 supporters, to raise cash for the Bradford-based brain tumour charity, Andrea’s Gift. The charity was launched eight years ago after the death of Bradford mum-of-two Andrea Key.
Ian has already raised £22,939 towards his £25,000 target to help fund the new brain tumour research unit at the Leeds Molecular Institute for Medicine.
