Progress of a planned multi-million-pound renovation of Cliffe Castle Park at Keighley will be revealed this weekend.

A public display will show work being carried out in advance of a bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund.

It will be exhibited on Saturday at Cliffe Castle Museum, then move to Keighley Library for a week.

The display will look at how Bradford Council is carrying out a historical analysis of the park.

People will be able to comment on the plans and pass on their memories of the park.

Four years ago, Bradford Council announced that it planned to apply for £4 million of lottery cash to restore the park.

Ideas included reinstating amenities, including fountains, a heather garden, lake, viewing platform, caves, ‘blind garden’ and woodland walk.
