A former Telegraph & Argus journalist is flying the England flag with pride at his tea room in Germany during the World Cup.
Former sports writer Simon Orrell was only too willing to put the Telegraph & Argus England flag in his window after his brother took it over when visiting him.
His brother, Gary, said he had even put a pole up in his garden with an England flag on it for the World Cup.
Mr Orrell runs an English speaking school and Muffins English Tea Room at the premises in Muhlau in eastern Germany.
His brother said: “He’s certainly pushing England over there and telling everybody England is going to win the World Cup.
“But I think he might be a little bit outnumbered!”
