A teenager is hoping she has what it takes to be crowned Miss Princess of the World UK.
Kirsten van Terheyden, 18, of Ilkley, has reached the final of the national competition which takes place next month in London, with the chance to go on and represent her country for the world title in the Czech Republic.
Kirsten, a student, is hoping her acting and musical skills will give her an extra edge.
Kirsten, of Westwood Drive, had recent success by reaching the final 100 in the BBC TV talent show Over the Rainbow and acted in numerous shows.
Kirsten, who is studying A-levels at Woodhouse Grove School, said: “I saw this competition and I thought I’d never done anything like it before and I like new experiences and I thought I’d be good at it.
“There’s a talent section, a bikini section, and wearing an evening gown.”
The final is on Saturday, July 17, and Kirsten is in need of sponsorship. Contact her via e-mail at kirsten@hotmail.co.uk.
