Bradford-born actor and dramatist Edmund Davies, who shot to stardom in ITV drama Cold Blood, is making a return to the stage in his home city this summer.
Edmund will be making a special guest appearance as American President Franklin D Roosevelt in the second act of Annie, running at Dixons Academy’s Lord Kalms Theatre from July 29 to 31.
The production is being staged by the Bradford Stage and Theatre School which Edmund, now 26, attended a decade ago. He has gone on to perform regularly for BBC Radio 4, including the drama Walter Now, starring alongside Sir Ian McKellen, last year.
He has also played several roles for Bradford-based Actors Community Theatre and is now based with Manningham-based theatre company Mind The Gap.
Tickets for Annie are available on 07964 689176.
