Visitors to Bradford Industrial Museum will be bowled over this weekend as an exhibition opens to celebrate the history of Bradford Cricket League.

The exhibition, 107 Not Out, opens tomorrow and runs until Sunday, August 15. The league has provided Yorkshire with talented young players and the display features archive images and memorabilia of some of the greats to have played in the league such as Sir Leonard Hutton, Herbert Sutcliffe, Eddie Paynter and more recently Matthew Hoggard.

There are also contributions from the MCC Museum at Lord’s and Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

Councillor the Reverend Paul Flowers, Bradford Council’s executive member for culture, tourism and sport, said: “Bradford Cricket League is one of the most famous and competitive leagues in the country, this is a great opportunity to mark its achievements and what it has done for the city and region.”
