Budding entrepreneurs at three Bradford secondary schools have launched a local initiative designed to develop their project skills and business sense.
Bradford Young Chamber involving students from Carlton Bolling College, Tong High School and Grange Technology College, is a junior version of the city’s chamber of commerce.
The students have been working on projects since the autumn aimed at developing their business skills. They also planned and staged a launch event which was attended by more than 200 people at the Midland Hotel, including 50 local business representatives.
Andy Culwick, marketing manager at Bradford Chamber of Commerce, said: “The launch was a successful event and the result of the teams applying the skills that they have been developing during their Young Chamber experience.”
