Gardeners are getting growing ready for this summer’s Ilkley Flower Show.
Organisers of the annual event on Saturday, August 7, are planning a coffee morning to raise money for the show. A summary of all the classes planned will be available at the coffee morning, at the Clarke Foley Centre, in Cunliffe Road, on Saturday, May 22.
More than 100 classes will be on offer at August’s show – for flowers, vegetables, fruit, floral art, and homecraft – and classes for baking, jam, chutney, marmalade, knitting, painted china, needlework, patchwork, craftwork, photography, and painting. Twelve classes are also being planned for children, including a floral art class and a photography class.
