Skipton-based Whitakers Chocolates has raised £100,000 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
Managing director William Whitaker completed the 200-mile Forget-Me-Not 2010 charity walk with Sir Ian Botham.
The ten-day walk marked the culmination of a three-year fundraising campaign by the chocolate company. It raised £70,000 for the cancer charity through sales of its special Calendar Girls packs and William pledged to raise a further £30,000 by taking part in “Beefy’s” latest walk from Manchester on April 10 and ending ten towns later in London.
