Guiseley have one thing in mind tomorrow - beating

promotion-chasing Marine at Nethermoor to improve their own placing in the UniBond Premier Division.

"I was talking to my counterpart at Frickley during the week about something else and he dropped into the conversation that we could do his team a favour this weekend," said Guiseley manager Neil Parsley. "Fixtures don't come much tougher than this - Marine are doing really well - but if we win it, it will be for us. We are not into doing favours for others, we are in the business of winning football matches for this club.

"Our thought process is all about Guiseley, it has to be because no one will be thinking about doing us any favours. The players went through a testing time last week with four games in eight days but they have had a couple of days off to recharge their batteries."

On-loan Bradford City defender Sam Denton (knee) is still ruled out through injury and Danny Ellis is rated as doubtful but others that have had slight knocks are expected to be in the frame after a week off.

One player not involved will be left back Stevie Ball who decided to return to Bradford Park Avenue.

His former Farsley Celtic and Avenue team-mates Phil Sharpe and Clive Freeman - now the management team at Horsfall - were eager to make the signing.

"I wish Stevie well," said Parsley.
