The time has come again to dig out your walking boots and help raise money for Manorlands.

People are invited to take part in a sponsored moorlands walk that has been organised as part of the Keighley Manorlands Challenge 2006 and will take place on Sunday April 23.

There will be a five-mile and 12-mile route for people to choose from on the day, with both walks starting and finishing at The Grouse Inn in Oakworth.

The 12-mile walk will take around five hours and the five-mile walk will take people around two hours to complete.

All the routes are being organised and marshalled by the East and West Riding Regiment of the Territorial Army, but will follow a slightly different route to the one mapped out last year.

Walkers will get en-route water and a well-deserved drink at the end.

Last year's challenge raised £36,000 and it is hoped this year's walk will be just as successful.

There is a minimum donation of £10 to enter, and a sponsorship form, directions to the starting point and full route details will be sent to people as soon as the money is received.

Anyone interested in taking part can register on 01535 640430.
