A FOOTBALL festival is set to kick-start fundraising efforts to install floodlights at Barnoldswick Town's ground.
The Silentnight Beds World Cup Soccer Sixes will take place at the club's Victory Park complex on Saturday May 20.
The club have received planning permission for floodlights at their ground on West Close Road which will cost in the region of £40,000.
Town are hoping to secure a sizable grant from the Football Foundation but also need to generate funds themselves.
The football festival, set to attract up to 65 teams, is being organised by the club as part of a two-year sponsorship deal with Barlick company Silentnight Beds
Funds from the event will also go towards Derian House Children's Hospice in Chorley.
