STUDENTS had the chance to 'gunge' their teacher as part of RAG Week festivities at Guiseley School last week.
The sixth form committee organised a variety of different events for Raise and Give (RAG) Week, which ran from Monday to Friday last week. Activities included cream cracker eating contests, quiz nights, sports roundabouts, gunge the teacher and fancy dress day.
The students raised more than £4,070 for three charities -- Soft Power Education (a Ugandan-based education charity), Childline (the national support line for children in the UK) and Bradford Reducing Anger and Violent Emotions (BRAVE, a charity that combats domestic violence in the local area).
Aimee Hutchinson, head of the sixth form committee said: "The week has been not only fun, but has raised truly amazing amounts of money for three very worthy causes.
"The response has been fantastic and we would like to thank everyone who helped it happen -- the teachers, the students and also the local businesses who donated prizes for a raffle."
