Wrose Bull won their sixth-round County Trophy second replay 3-2 against stubborn visitors Eastfield after conceding late goals to send the game into extra-time.

Bulls heroes in ordinary time were striker Chris Hawker, who followed up his two goals in the first game with another brace, and his brother Mark, who pulled off two great first-half saves.

Bull went in front when Hawker nipped in front of the keeper to head home after 30 minutes.

Hawker's second came when Jamie Metcalfe's cross was diverted into his path by an Eastfield defender with less than ten minutes left.

An inspired Eastfield, who had been well contained by Bulls defence until then, hit two in the last five minutes to take the game into extra-time.

Metcalfe, put through by Dave Elvidge, slotted in the winner.

The last place in the Bradford & District Sunday Senior Cup semi- finals was settled when Oakenshaw beat Fairweather Green 1-0 in the outstanding quarter-final.

Martin Thompson's goal in the second half gave Oakenshaw a last-four date with Bolton Woods.

The other semi final between Whetley Lane and Buttershaw White Star is scheduled for Thackley tomorrow.

Bolton Woods moved from mid-table to top four in the Premier Division and could even afford the luxury of a saved penalty after a 2-1 win over leaders West Bowling. Behind to an own goal after ten minutes, Woods equalised when Mark Burham finished off Andy Howland's cross.

The winner came ten minutes later - a rare goal from defender Kevin Woodhead.

While Whetley Lane, with a district semi on their minds, went down 3-1 at Pudsey, Wyke Wanderers, needing three points to avoid relegation, beat Queensbury 2-1.

In a below par performance, Queensbury failed to show until the last quarter when Johnny Brown pulled a goal back.

Making it hard for themselves to retain their title, Albion Sports were held 2-2 at Holme Wood.

Terry Oddie and Tyrone Brakes scored for Holme Wood and newcomer Thomas Carney and Narinder Sandhu for Albion Sports.

Division One leaders Bradford Park Avenue Rangers, who went in front early from Adam Jones' free-kick, had a hiccup and were held 3-3 with bottom club Westwood.

After going 2-1 down, two goals from Bruce Netzler restored Avenue's lead only for Mark Price to gain Westwood a point with their third goal.

One good point to come out of the game for Avenue was an appearance from the bench by Danny Castro who had been out of the game with injury for 18 months.

The second club in the division, Ring O Bells Shipley also went through a sticky patch in their game at Wibsey WMC. A goal up after five minutes, Bells conceded three goals as Wibsey dominated the rest of the first half. And Wibsey were unlucky not to go 4-1 up at the start of the second half. Bells came right back with three goals in five minutes to edge in front 4-3. The result stayed that way after Wibsey missed a penalty.

Eastward's mini revival came to an end after a visit to Dudley Hill Rangers. Ward pulled back two goals after Rangers had led 3-0 lead but fell away again as Craig Brown completed a hat-trick and Jamie McEwan scored twice in Rangers' 5-2 win.

Ventus Sports moved three points and two games behind Division 1A leaders Bishop Rovers after a 5-0 win against a game Hudsons.

Third-placed Eccleshill Sunday, who looked to be the division's favourites earlier in the season, came through 6-5 against George Hotel.

Queensbury Reserves led twice in their home fixture with Oddfellows Athletic. As Queensbury ran out of steam, it was Athletic's sub Mark Garrod who confirmed his side's 3-2 win.

While their rivals Oakworth Juniors were losing a Keighley & District semi final to Silsden, Crown Wyke had a tough game at White Eagles in Division 1B.

Well marshalled by centre half Alex Nesovic, Eagles lost the game in the last quarter when Crown converted three chances.

An Andy Fieldhouse hat-trick assured Royal Clayton stayed third. They beat Albion Sports Reserves 4-2.

Saltaire Rangers went down 2-1. Wibsey's goals came from strikers Rob Rowantree and Steve Cyzyewski.
