SO Keighley Cougars came through their Challenge Cup test against Bradford amateurs West Bowling without too much fuss.

And that win should give them some confidence looking ahead to Sunday's visit of neighbours Halifax -- as well as for the next round of their cup adventure.

Round Four sees them travel to Peter Roe's old club Featherstone in the next tie of this marvellous competition.

I once had the Challenge Cup (and Super League trophy) in the back of my car -- I picked it up for an event taking place at Halifax's old ground Thrum Hall.

On close inspection it's a little battered around the edges -- and the lid barely fitted -- but it's a gorgeous piece of silverware and well worth fighting to get your hands on.

Let's hope Cougars can get that big name draw sorted out for round five!

ENGLAND's cricketers bid to win their first Test since The Ashes when play begins in Mumbai tomorrow.

But with an Indian wife, loyalties in my household are certainly divided to say the least.

We may have Freddie, but they have Rahul 'The Wall' Dravid and the best since Bradman -- Sachin Tendulkar -- to rely on.

What my wife and I both agree on though is the frustration caused by the lack of highlights broadcast on 'normal TV'.

I have a sneaking suspicion her motives are more to do with swooning over Dravid and company though -- rather than whether Flintoff should be putting an extra man in the slip cordon or not.

Is everyone else as bored with the speculation over the England manager's job as I am?

As long as the man who gets it has the best chance of winning us a European Championship or World Cup, I don't care who he is, or where he is from.

Personally, I'd like Fabio Capello -- he's got to be better than the British options like Curbishley?
