Thackley Juniors battled to a 2-0 victory over Prospect Juniors to win the Keybury League Under-Sevens Red Division title.

The Prospect team formed a tunnel of honour to applaud their opponents off the pitch.

Thackley's victory was down to goals from top-scorer Joseph Knox and Cameron Smithirst.

The man-of-the-match award went to Casey Welsh, the only girl in the team, for her tenacious tackling which kept a determined Prospect team at bay.

Thackley now go through to the play-offs in April.

A commanding performance from Richard Austerfield gave Dudley Hill

Rangers (white) under-eights a platform to go on to win 12-0 against a spirited Myrtle Park.

Goals from Kieran Suddards (4), James Morris (3), Ryan Goldsborough (2), Daniel Warren (2) and a scorcher from Ryan Archer ensured the points went to the home side.

Jack Adams and Thomas Rollin were solid in defence for Dudley Hill

Rangers (blue) under-eights against a gutsy Eccleshill United.

A goal in each half from Charlie Keough and Michael Brown and great tackling and determination from Georgia Southwell helped the blues to a deserved 2-0 home victory.

Kings Park Pumas enjoyed a 2-1 home win over Gomersal/Cleckheaton Panthers.

Both sides made a good start but it was Kings Park who took the lead. The

visitors hit back but Jack Howland cashed in on a defensive mistake to earn the Pumas victory.

Kings Park Panthers were in fine form defeating Gomersal/Cleckheaton Wildcats 7-1.

Leo Murphy gave Panthers the lead and went on the score four goals. Johed Amol (2) and Jefferson Lagarde also

netted.

Dudley Hill under-eights (blue) defeated Eccleshill United 2-0 in an entertaining match.

Eccleshill United under-nines took part in a rare 0-0 draw at Vision where Kyle Hodgson was voted the best player for Eccleshill.

Eccleshill United under-tens fought out a scrappy 2-1 win at Shipley thanks to goals from Tom Stewart and Benni Barker. Leon Khan was man of the match.

Bingley Juniors under-tens A inflicted the first defeat of the season on Oakworth Hornets. Robert Carberry scored both goals in the 2-1 win.

Bingley under-tens B lost 4-1 to Oakworth Juniors. Jake Ellison was the scorer.

And Bingley under-16s A enjoyed a comfortable 8-0 League Cup win over Sedburgh Crusaders. Josh Atkinson and Tom Carberry both scored hat-tricks and Jamie Husband netted twice.

Nab Wood under-nines and Oakworth Stingers fought out an entertaining 2-2 draw. Chris Mercer scored twice for Nab Wood.

Prospect Juniors under-13s kept on the title trail with a 4-1 victory at South Leeds in Division Two of the Garforth League. Prospect couldn't get going in the first half and they missed a penalty to leave the half-time score 0-0. But Rhys Whelan tapped the ball in after a great run from man-of-the-match Sam Oliver to put Prospect in front.

South Leeds equalised from a 20-yard free-kick but Prospect then started to control the game and Whelan scored another tap-in. Further goals came from Curtis Rawnsley and Oli Eli.

Farsley Celtic Colts under-11s were back in league action in a local derby, beating Stanningley Albion 5-2 in difficulty, windy conditions.

Farsley dominated the game but fell behind to a breakaway goal. This spurred them into action and they equalised through a great goal from James Cook and went ahead through Harry Stirk.

The second half was dominated by Farsley, who went 3-1 ahead through Max Collins.

They wrapped up the victory with two goals from man-of-the-match Lewis Jennings.

Bradford Park Avenue under-sevens won 3-1 at Rastrick in the Huddersfield & District League - with a hat-trick from Curtis Peters.

Avenue under-sevens B team lost 3-2 to Rastrick.

League leaders Pudsey Juniors Girls under-16s hammered second-placed Brighouse 8-1.

Vicky Mladonovic and Naomi Jayne Scorah set up wave after wave of attacks which were finished off by the striking partnership of Sarah Cromack and Laurna Stringwell (3) and the two Pudsey wingers, Charlotte Walker and Annie Murphy (2). Mladonovic also scored.
