Winger Mark Burnham made his debut for Bolton Woods and scored the only goal as Woods, playing catch-up in their Premier Division programme, beat Whetley Lane WMC 1-0.

There was no luck for Wyke Wanderers who stay in the relegation frame after losing 2-1 to Oakenshaw.

In front after five minutes through Craig Sheridon's penalty, Wyke then conceded goals just before and after half-time to Dean Worrell and Martin Dolan. Despite constant pressure, they couldn't find an equaliser.

Another club to come back from a goal down to win 2-1 were West Bowling.

Veteran Keith Sanderson put Pudsey in front but Cory Larvin equalised for Bowling before Chris Wood slotted a winner past Sanderson, who had gone in goal for Pudsey's injured keeper.

Fairweather Green, one of the sides in with a chance of catching Albion Sports, failed to cash in when held by Holme Wood Athletic, whose equalisers cancelled out strikes by Lee Summerscales and Mick Burke.

In the tight race at the top of Division One, Brent Netzler hit four goals with Trinity Brown adding another as Bradford Park Avenue Rangers beat Victorian Rangers 5-0. Building on their point at Vics the

previous Sunday - and fighting for first division survival - Eastward took full points with a 3-2 win over Wibsey WMC. Carl Butler was an inspiration in midfield and Brian Carr was the goal hero with a hat-trick which included two penalties.

While second-placed Ring O Bells Shipley's game at Dudley Hill Rangers was a weather victim, Queensbridge enjoyed their first win for some time at Eccleshill. Queensbridge ended 2-1 winners in a game in which the Eccleshill manager replaced the referee who couldn't continue because of illness.

In Division 1A, there was a goal feast at White Horse where third-placed Eccleshill United tuned up for their big game with Bishop Rovers this Sunday with a 10-1 win. Ben Hardy was top scorer with five.

Leaders Bishop took their unbeaten home record into March with a 5-3 win over Baildon Trinity.

Ebad Rashid completed a hat-trick in the first 14 minutes with Shahpal Yaqoob adding two more in the first half - which Bishop led 5-0.

Second-placed Ventus kept the pressure on Bishop after three goals in each half saw them 6-1 victors at Queensbury Reserves.

A through ball from Neil Milner saw Mark Burrow hit the only goal of the game for Hudsons against Burrow's former club Quarry.

And Martin Hodgson hit the goal of the game for Clayton Orient in their

6-2 win at QCs - a 20-yard volley.

In a game in which both sides lacked key players, George and Oddfellows settled for a 1-1 draw. Ben Cahill produced Oddfellows' equaliser after 60 minutes.

Disappointed after their quarter-final district cup exit against Buttershaw White Star, Crown Wyke inched nearer the Division 1B title with a 5-2 win at Wibsey WMC Reserves. There was a rare goal for Sean Hammerton, one of Crown's unsung heroes at the back.

season revival continued at Chellow Reserves where they ran out 4-1 winners, scoring all their goals in the first half.
