A business has achieved a 'giant killing', picking up two internet industry awards.

Exa Networks was named best business broadband provider and was runner-up in the best business internet service provider category at the Internet Service Provider Awards.

The company, based at Cottingley Business Park, offers home workers and businesses a one-stop shop for internet connectivity.

It works in schools, including Bradford Girls' Grammar School, with more than 12,000 pupils using the company's services nationwide.

The business provides schools with fast internet access, e-mail access, anti-virus scanning and filtering and has helped set up Wilsden Parish Council's website and e-mail system.

Managing director Mark Cowgill said: "Obviously we are all ecstatic at having achieved this and it is credit to all the hard work put in by all the staff."

An ISPA spokesman said: "Exa Networks' strength was said to lie in its simplicity; offering affordable and simple connectivity, effective email filtering and good customer care, with no hidden costs."
