Bradford Park Avenue, who are without a league win since the end of October, have sacked manager Gary Brook.
Saturday's 3-2 home defeat to Witton Albion left the club just four points off the UniBond League Premier Division relegation zone.
Avenue chairman Dr John Dean said: "The board wish Gary every success for the future but, after considerable discussion, feel that following the run of disappointing results since November, they must act to save the club from a second successive relegation.
"The board remain extre-mely ambitious and will now begin the process of recruiting a management team that can stabilise the club for the last quarter of this difficult season."
Brook, who joined Avenue after a successful period as boss of Ossett Town, made a good start to the season and the club were at one stage hopeful of making the play-offs.
