A new service between Leeds Bradford International Airport and Inverness is due to begin operating in the Spring.
The 80-minute journey will operate six times a week.
Eastern Airways is the firm operating the service.
Keith Watson, their head of sales and marketing, said: "Inverness is becoming an increasingly popular destination for both the business and leisure traveller and many blue chip organisations have bases in the north of Scotland."
Cath Mason, Leeds Bradford International Airport's finance & commercial director, said the development was another enhancement to passenger services at the airport.
Services begin from Monday April 24 and will take off at 10.15am.
