Full on, old school, new wave, pop-punk entertainment is promised by Blondie tribute band Once More Into the Bleach.

Deborah Harry soundalike Sam will sport the "trademark blond hair and sexy pout" as she performs at Glusburn Institute.

She will even wear outfits donated by Debbie as part of the real band's support for the copycats.

Meanwhile Sam's band will be dressed to recreate the look of Blondie's mega-hit album Parallel Lines.

The band has stood in for the real Blondie at some performances while Sam has performed on four of Blondie's European tours.

Once More into the Bleach has also performed in Spain, Ireland and the British Embassy in Moscow as well as supporting many famous rock bands.

n Singer and actress Barbara Dickson performs at St George Hall, Bradford, on Tuesday at 7.30pm.Barbara had a string of 1980s pop hits and starred in musicals such as Blood Brothers and Spend Spend Spend.

The Kings of Swing perform hits by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Doris Day and Bobby Darin, tomorrow at 7.30pm.

n Hollygarth Social Club in Ilkley is hosting a musical night in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

The event features the band 'Legend' and 'DJ Ray' and takes place on April 29, beginning at 7.30pm.
