After going a long way to securing their future in the North West Counties top tier with back-to-back league
victories, Silsden turn their attentions to the League Cup tomorrow and a trip to Flixton.
"I think we have returned to a solid defence at long last. We have kept four clean sheets in the last six games," said Silsden manager Andy Geary ahead of the second-round tie.
"We really hope to progress in this competition because, as silly as it sounds in November, it represents our last chance of silverware. A win would also keep the confidence going. We played Flixton twice last season in Division Two and we beat them twice but that will count for nothing. They will see us struggling after promotion last term and fancy themselves to turn us over."
Defender Michael Rhodes is ruled out through work commitments but Matthew Bland is available for the first time in weeks.
