Young Bradford City forward Kevin Sanasy could be making his second Farsley Celtic debut at Prescot Cables tomorrow in the FA Trophy third qualifying round after signing on loan.
Celts manager Lee Sinnott swooped to sign the player this week to further boost his squad that is already packed with experienced players.
Sanasy, who was a prolific scorer for Farsley as a junior, could be in line for a place in the final 16 to face Prescot Cables. The Merseyside club are UniBond Premier Division rivals of the Celts and while they have home advantage tomorrow, they will travel the other way next Saturday for a league game.
"Kevin is still contracted to Bradford City but we have signed him and have permission to play him," said Sinnott.
"I hope he will be here until the end of the season but all three parties, the player, Bradford and ourselves, will keep discussing the situation. It will be an ongoing thing and everyone will keep in contact on a regular basis."
The Celts will be able to separate the cup game against Prescot from the league game after facing the same scenario against Bradford Park Avenue in the FA Cup. On that occasion, the clubs met three times in ten days because the return league game followed soon after. "These back-to-back games are becoming regular, let's hope we can do what we did against Avenue and win them both. They got their own back when they took all three points off us in the second league game though. The draw for the UniBond League Cup was made on Tuesday and - you've guessed it - we were drawn against Avenue."
