City skipper David Wetherall is expecting "great things" from Nottingham Forest this season - but not tomorrow!

The experienced centre half believes the former European champions, who are three points behind the Bantams in the League One table, are still favourites for promotion despite some indifferent form of late.

However, he expects them to be further behind the Bantams after the clash at the City Ground.

"This is a big game for us and Forest are seen as the big scalp in this league," said Wetherall. "They are probably struggling to adjust a little bit after relegation and they have been finding that teams have been lifting their games against them.

"They were favourites to go up before the season started - and they are still everybody's favourites for promotion now - and rightly so when you look at the team and squad they've got.

"They should be right up there by the end of the season and I'm sure they will be. But they're finding it that little bit difficult at the moment so it's up to us to make sure that continues tomorrow."

City manager Colin Todd has few injury worries: "Bobby Petta came off on Saturday so we will have to see how that goes," said Todd. "But we would expect to keep our run going."

With Andy Cooke scoring the winner against Gillingham on Saturday, Todd must now decide who partners Dean Windass up front.

But the City boss doesn't plan to invite travelling fans into the dressing room after the Forest game should the Bantams fail to deliver.

Forest boss Gary Megson made his players face disgruntled travelling supporters after his team were beaten 3-0 by Yeovil last week. The shocked players listened to two supporters, picked from the crowd, give them a dressing down.

"It's not the first time that this sort of thing has happened," said Todd.

"We are fully focused on Forest and I have said all along how it is important not to concede goals. Clean sheets win you games. We need to make it difficult for them tomorrow."

City have lost just once on their travels this season - and that was to a late goal at Blackpool.
