Silsden dominated the start of the second half Ben Woolard at the heart of everything. Silsden were in top gear playing some of their best rugby of the season. Bowness was soon in on the act again, this time picking an inside ball from Smith off his bootlaces to go in under the sticks, he then added the kick.

The best was saved till last with the try of the game. James Cordeux threw a dummy splitting the defence; he offloaded to Jordan who in turn slipped a pass to Gavin Jones. Jones raced down the touchline and popped a pass back inside to the supporting Smith who went in under the posts for a superb team try. Bowness added the kick to take his tally to 14 points.

The Halifax side had the last word with a late consolation try.
