City go into Saturday's big clash at Nottingham Forest with manager Colin Todd aiming to win SEVEN matches on the bounce.

"We talk about our back-to-back wins against Port Vale and Gillingham, but last season we went five on the bounce," said Todd. "I would like to see us win six or seven.

"We have lost one game in nine away from home - and that speaks volumes."

City have conceded 16 goals in their 15 league games this season. Only Brentford (12) and Barnsley (15) have conceded fewer.

And Todd is particularly heartened by City's two clean sheets against Vale and then Gillingham on Saturday.

"I have always said that clean sheets win you games.

"We don't go out there negative but we like to be disciplined and organised. We like to be solid at the back but also to win the game.

"Forest's home record is pretty good. But they lost in the cup and at Yeovil last week and that will have hurt them. We know they will be prepared to bounce back.

"But there is no reason why we can't make it very difficult for them on Saturday."

l The Football Association has dropped an investigation into two biting allegations involving Dean Windass.

Southend goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan and Bournemouth midfielder Marcus Browning accused Windass of biting

during games in August.

Windass denied both allegations and the FA has decided the 34-year-old had no case to answer.
