Lee Radford has rejoined Hull on a two-year deal.
The 26-year-old forward left the club at the end of 1998 and won six major honours during his seven years at Odsal.
But after failing to agree a new deal with the Bulls, the Challenge Cup-winners have swooped to bring Radford home.
Radford said that once he knew he was leaving Bradford, Hull was the only place he wanted to go.
"I think the timing is just right," said Radford. "I had a number of good offers from other clubs - one was an
exceptionally good one, but when Hull came in for me that was it."
Adrian Morley should be free to join the Bulls next week after his Australian club Sydney Roosters failed to make the NRL play-offs.
The former Leeds second row agreed a short-term deal with the Bulls after being granted a temporary release by the Roosters at the end of their season.
Manly's victory over Canberra means
the Roosters can no longer make the top eight.
