More than 4,000 merrymakers helped Haworth Carnival attract a record attendance, its organisers have said.
The two-day event, which took place at Haworth Cricket Club's pitch over the Bank Holiday weekend, featured all the usual attractions.
Highlights included Monday's procession from Butt Lane, up Main Street and into the showfield, and the crowning of carnival queen Ellie Ratcliffe and her princesses.
Other attractions were La Classique majorettes, Halifax Marching Band, fairground rides, a bouncy castle and charity stalls.
Cricket club secretary Gary Bancroft said: "We had an excellent weekend and the weather was a lot kinder to us this year. It was a bit windy and we couldn't put up one of the inflatables. There was an excellent turnout. There were at least 4,000 people through the gates over the two days."
As well as charity stalls, the event included the club's own fundraising attractions and barbecue.
Mr Bancroft said money would be spent on improving the club's changing facilities and pavilion.
