Contestants of a unique village race had a scary time on their way to success.
First past the post at Sunday's Cowling Pram Race was Mark Adams, whose team was dressed as the Addams Family.
And the winners of the best-dressed pram was a team from The Bay Horse, Cowling, who donned witches' outfits. The team, called Hocus Pocus, featured Bev Brown, Kirsty Procter and Mandy Smith.
The event, which has raised thousands of pounds over the years and was revived in 1996, collected money for the Upper Wharfedale Fell and Cave Rescue organisation.
Total sponsorship money and trophies for the fastest teams and best fancy dress will be handed out at a special presentation ceremony in October.
A total of 16 teams assembled at the start line, at Dovetail Pines, Cowling, the former Black Bull.
They called at various pubs in Cowling and Cross Hills before finishing at the Bay Horse, Sutton.
Landlord of Cowling's Bay Horse Keith Procter said: "The event went really well -- it was well marshalled and well policed.
"I don't think there was an accident this year, which is a bit unusual.
"It was a fun day all round. People really enjoyed themselves."
Other teams included soldiers with a camouflaged pram, a trio of convicts and members of the Simpsons. Also after the golden ticket were members of the Willy Wonka cast.
