Burley denied reigning champions Bilton an outright win but the leaders are still looking a good bet to land their third successive title and fourth in five seasons.

Bilton have a five-point lead over Follifoot, with Kirkstall a further point behind and Otley in fourth place 13 points adrift of the leaders.

After home side Bilton had totalled 225 for four, with half-centuries from Andy Walker, Tim Sheehan and Simon Clemerson, Burley batted doggedly for a point, finishing on 150 for seven.

Nick Brook (46) and Grant Costello (31) were the pick for the visitors, who are just three points off the foot of the table.

Otley look to be too far behind to catch Bilton and they took just one point from a losing draw at Green Lane despite a five-wicket haul for Andrew Bourke.

Barry McCormick (75) and David Whittaker (29) gave the Green Lane innings a solid start with a partnership of 74, and when Otley reached 161

for eight in their reply they

finished 77 runs behind.

After successive defeats to Otley and Follifoot, Rawdon have put together a three-match winning run.

Aussie batsman Matthew Hutton hit 81 and spinner Jon Hughes took seven for 46 in

his 18 overs as Rawdon defeated North Leeds by 20 runs, North Leeds losing their last man off the final ball.

Division B leaders Pool posted their highest score of the season - making 306 for seven against Bardsey, who finished 102 runs adrift but with three wickets standing.

David Singleton struck 84 for Pool, including 14 boundaries, in a third-wicket partnership of 108 with Mark McEneaney,

who finished on 64. There was also a half-century from David Murphy.

Steeton narrowed the gap on second-placed Collingham to three points after defeating them by eight wickets at Summerhill Lane.

Ilkley surprised Calverley by taking four points from their contest at Victoria Park, Kiwi Leighton Parsons flaying the home bowling for an unbeaten 131.

Harden defeated Alwoodley by 95 runs, Steve Bateman hitting 61 and taking three wickets for four runs with his medium pace. Bateman and Rob Verity shared a fifth-wicket stand of 116.

Adelaide batsman Jamie Harford included 17 fours in an innings of 116 as Illingworth won at Woodhouse by seven wickets, while Bolton Villas were eight-wicket victors against Skipton.
