City's summer shopping spree may not be over.

Colin Todd has added five players to the squad so far but another striker and right-sided defender could be on the list.

City are keeping any potential targets under wraps, although former Derby and Walsall frontman Junior has been linked. The Brazilian is still on the look-out for a new club after leaving Pride Park at the end of last season.

Todd said: "There's a possibility we might be able to do something else and if the right ones became available then I'd love to sign them tomorrow.

"But we've also got to see how things pan out in pre-season. At the moment I could say we need to add to certain positions and then someone in another area might get injured. Hopefully not but it's something I will monitor."

New signings Russell Howarth, Bobby Petta and Danny Cadamarteri will get another outing at non-league North Ferriby tonight in City's second pre-season friendly.

Damion Stewart and on-loan Andrew Taylor will not join up with the club until later this month when their international commitments are finished.

But there is still room within the player budget to allow Todd to add at least one more face.

North Ferriby, who won the Unibond League First Division last season, now play at the same level as Park Avenue but City will be sending a much stronger squad to Church Road.

Dean Windass, David Wetherall, Andy Cooke and Mark Bower are all included after sitting out Friday's opener. Youngsters Sam Denton, Luke Richardson, Danny Ellis and Kevin Sanasy will not make the trip.

It will be a special night for Windass, who played for North Ferriby before turning pro. The club are now managed by his father-in-law Brian France.

Tom Kearney will also get his second run-out as he continues his comeback from injury.

Todd added: "I thought Tom did very well in his first game back. Because he has worked right through the summer he is looking sharper than some of the others and he'll be involved again.

"The four who missed out against Park Avenue will all get 45 minutes but I will be playing two teams again.

"There will be changes at half-time just like last week.

"The games are going to get more

competitive as we progress through

pre-season. We go to Halifax after this one which will be a step up before you start facing other league clubs."

The Bantams have a clean bill of health after Darren Holloway recovered from the slight strain he picked up at Avenue.

Admission tonight is £6 for adults and £3 concessions. Kick-off is 7.30pm.
