Crown 96 lost three of their first four league games in Division 1A, and looked to be heading for a season of struggle, but they've turned it round in great style and now look forward to a League Cup semi-final.

They are also top of their division after winning 4-3 at Nags 94.

The score was 2-2 at half-time, Neil Magee netting twice for Nags and Paul Exley twice for Crown.

Exley completed a hat-trick and Matthew Pearmain added a fourth to seize the points, despite Richard Thackray's late goal for Nags. If Crown win their last two games, they will be champions.

Oakenshaw struggled to a 3-2 win over Green Man, but it takes them nine points clear in the Premier Division.Rory Romani opened the scoring for the leaders, but a brace from Paul Lee had Green Man 2-1 up in the second half. Mick Burke equalised, and Craig Lawford grabbed the winner late on.

Ventus United played some excellent football at Albion Sports, but still came away empty-handed and are remain in deep trouble at the bottom.

Richard Clarke put Albion in front, but Tony Marshall equal-ised. Marshall then gave Ventus the lead in the second half, but Clarke again and Taj Singh made the final score 3-2, although Albion were grateful for the goalkeeping display from John Hawkes.

John Kilner and Tim Thornton scored for East Bowling Unity in their 2-0 win at Bolton Woods, which leaves Woods needing to pick up four or five wins to be safe from the drop. They have plenty of games left, but lots of cup commitments.

Devon Miller celebrated a hat-trick and Simon Parkes added two for Bradford Moor as they won 5-1 at Brown Cow Wyke to move into fourth. Jamie Smith and Steve Sykes both scored trebles for Sandy Lane, who swamped West Bowling 8-1

Peel Park Rangers inflicted Victoria Rangers' second defeat in the First Division, but it wasn't even close as Andy Sugden got three. Majiid Ashiree netted twice and Phil Beam, Mark Collett and Steve Wakelin completed an 8-3 win.

Carl Patten, James Hunt and Andrew Cookland replied for Rangers, who will have been delighted to hear that close rivals Stanley Road suffered a 2-0 home defeat by Thornton.

Queensbury A could still figure in the outcome, but should have taken all three points off Lilycroft, instead of one in a 2-2 draw.

Owen Malcolm gave Bradford Moor YSA the lead at Wrose Bull and when Paul Terralonge was felled in the area, Mohammed Saddiq wrapped up a 2-0 win from the spot.

Delvers are still unbeaten in Division 1B, Tim Clarke (2), Roger White and Adam Cook scoring in the 4-1 win against Royal Oak.

Cook's own goal was fully 35 yards after just coming on as sub, and Sean Graham produced the lone reply for the visitors.

Milestone missed a penalty on the way to being held 0-0 by third-from-bottom Windmill. St Patrick's held a 3-1 lead thanks to Andy Hindle, Mick Brogden and Peter Ramsden, but blew it and Station won 4-3.

Craig Smith and Simon Hillam put leaders Wrose Albion two up at White Eagles and, although Joe Bradshaw pulled one back, Albion held on for the win.
