Eddie Youds and Jamie Lawrence are the two main injury worries for Bradford City as they prepare for tomorrow's clash with Sheffield United.

City boss Paul Jewell is hoping to close the three-point gap on the Division One play-off positions when his side travel to Bramall Lane.

Youds was substituted during the first half of Tuesday's 2-1 victory over Port Vale after aggravating a stomach injury while Lawrence missed the game due to a nasty facial wound sustained the previous Saturday against Oxford.

Jewell said: "Hopefully Jamie will be fit after requiring nine stitches.

"The eye was still closed on Wednesday but it has opened up since and got a lot better.

"He had a running session on Wednesday and trained with us yesterday. We are also waiting to see how Eddie feels.

"It will be a tough game but we must look to get the ball down and pass it around on what will hopefully be a good surface."
