An apology in anticipation of some of you not being totally happy with this week's issue. For a number of reasons, which are fairly difficult to explain, we have been unable to carry all of our normal reports such as village news, sport, some diary dates and letters.
In a bid to get as much of the news in as possible we have dropped some of our normal fixtures and fittings, such as the index on page two and the village news maps.
As daft as it sounds it is all to do with making very positive changes for the future and improving our service to readers and advertisers.
I apologise to anyone who may be affected, and as they used to say on the television - normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.
