Tickets are selling fast for the Keighley News' spring fashion show.

don't miss your chance to attend the event, which brings the top catwalk fashions to town.

Final preparations are now being made for the show which takes place at Victoria Hall, Keighley, on thursday, April 2, from 7.30pm.

One of the features of the event will be the Keighley News' Search for a Model competition in which six readers will strut their stuff before the audience.

We have selected the six from lots of entries for the competition over the last few weeks and will reveal the winners next week in a special Fashion Show supplement. Keighley News editor Malcolm Hoddy says: "The standard of entries has been extremely high and I am only sorry not all of them can take part."

The winner will be offered a modelling contract with Ravish Productions, based in Otley, as well as featuring in issues of the Keighley News. Leading model agencies are always on the scout for new talent and fresh looks, and the show could be the launchpad to fame and fortune in the fashion world for our winner.

Judging the models will be Mr Hoddy and representatives from Sunwin House, which is backing the event, and Ravish productions, which is providing the models. Among the stores providing the clothes for the models to wear are David Petyt Menswear, Sunwin House, Jean Junction, Rag Doll and House of Lyness.

Tickets cost £4 and can be bought from the Keighley News, either by calling in to our North Street offices or by contacting Margaret Fowler at the KN on 606611.

Next week's Keighley News will include a special preview of the show. To advertise in it contact Julie Alston of our display sales team on the above number.
