Holders Albion Sports maintained their interest in the Senior Cup - a trophy they have held for the past two seasons - but only after being given a real fright.

Bradford Moor took the lead on the half-hour mark but Taj Singh equalised before half-time. With no further goals in normal time it was left to Singh to score his second in the first period of extra-time to seal the victory.

East Bowling Unity and Bolton Woods ended all square at 1-1 after extra-time in their semi-final, but it was East Bowling Unity who held their nerve in the penalty shootout to make the final.

Green Man gave themselves a fighting chance of survival in the Premier Division by beating fellow strugglers Ventus United 6-3. Keith Turner (2) and Ralph Foxcroft scored for Ventus, who led three times, but the home side hit back each time and then powered away to win with goals from Ian O'Grady (4), Julian Ryder and Dave Elvidge.

Oakenshaw are fast closing in on the title for the second year running. Steve Clay and Craig Lawford had them 2-0 up at the break, but Sandy Lane made things difficult and pulled one back with the last kick of the game.

Hudsons are at least keeping the title race open a little longer. They went behind at home to Brown Cow Wyke, but moved 3-1 in front through Paul Cooper (2) and Martin Dolan, whose chipped shot saw ball and keeper end up in the net. Cow pulled one back but Hudsons took the points.

Victoria Rangers now need four points from their last two games to be sure of the First Division title. They led twice in the first half through Andy Cookland and Stuart Thompson but each time Bradford Moor YSA came back to level. Cookland then scored his second for a 3-2 win.

East Ward suffered agonies in their final game. A win would have meant that only Queensbury could pip them for second place, but now Stanley Road can also finish above them.

Alan Morley, Adam Khan and Juan Contreras scored the goals for Ward but Peel park Rangers won this fierce local derby 4-3.

Stanley Road were 3-1 winners at home to Wibsey WMC with goals from Lee Elam, Gary Chapman and an own goal. Four points from their last two games will now be enough for them to finish above East Ward.

Queensbury A made short work of beating Eccleshill United A 8-2 and it should have been more. Gary Shaw scored a hat-trick, paul Sharkey hit two and Rob Ellis, Martin Bland and Richard Ingham got the others.

If Bury now win their remaining nine games the title could be decided on goal difference.

Calverley Victoria recaptured some of their early season form to beat Fountain 4-2 and return to the top of Division 1A. James Hall (2), Steve Thompson and Mark Westerman scored the goals and if they beat Crown in one of their remaining games they will win the division.

Delvers caught bottom club Woodend on a day when they struggled to field a team, but they did their job in a very efficient way rattling in 15 goals. Roger White (5), Steve Wilkinson (3), Charlie Hainsworth (2), Ian Flanagan (2), Darren Kendall and Mark Conley accounted for 14 of them, and manager Paul Armitage came on and rocketed one in from distance with his first touch.

Glen Mouatt scored twice for Wrose Albion and Chris Hizzett also netted as they beat Royal Oak 3-0. Mark Allen found the net for Windmill but they went down 4-1 at home to White Eagles.
