Bulls coach Matthew Elliott has denied repeated speculation that summer signing Shaun Edwards is set for a move back to Wigan.
Edwards missed Sunday's warm-up clash with St Helens fuelling terrace rumours that his stay at Odsal could be a short one.
But Elliott said: "I was not aware that the fans were expressing concern but I would emphasise there is not a problem.
"Shaun had a slight hamstring strain so we decided to rest him last weekend but he will be back in contention against Huddersfield next week."
Wigan admitted several weeks ago that they had had an offer rejected for their former star, whose popularity was underlined by his induction into the club's new Hall of Fame last week.
But Elliott insisted: "We have made enquires about one of their players recently (believed to be young winger Daryl Cardiss) and Wigan have had plenty of opportunities to ask about Shaun. They haven't. End of story."
