Cowling Juniors beat Long Lee on Saturday, drawing 3-3. The scorers were Grant Coombes, Nicky Smout and Gregory Wilson. On Sunday they played Oakworth, drawing 1-1, with Gregory Wilson scoring their only goal.

Long Lee Under-11's A marched into the cup semi-final against Nab Wood. Jake Wright opened the scoring with a header before Nab Wood missed a penalty. Long Lee never looked back after the let off with goals from Nicky Trowers (2), Jack Kershaw, Jake Wright and Mark Holden. The best was saved until last with a fantastic finish from Harry Holmes. Liam King was star man.

Oaklee secured a comfortable 7-0 win over Eccleshill Eagles despite having to reshuffle the team because of illness and injury. David Alderson took over the keeper's role and did well. Slick passing led to some good goals, Alex Love (4) took full advantage and David Nelson converted a penalty after Tom Appelbee was brought down. Jack Curtis hit a screamer from 25 yards and David Bennett popped one in from close range. It was a strong all round performance based on a solid midfield and defence where Josh Ranklin kept things tight.

Wilsden Juniors Under-8's a battled hard at Menston to come away with a 3-1 win. Man of the match James Leng opened the scoring with a blistering 15-yard drive, but Menston were level by half time. Wilsden dominated after the break and goals from midfield duo Thomas Sugden and Joe Dent sealed the three points.

Wilsden Juniors Under-8's B toppled the league leaders, Menston, with a gutsy performance away from home. the only goal came in the first half when Michael Simpson followed up after a drive from Andrew Slack. In the second half Menston besieged the visitors' goal, but Wilsden defended with real passion and deservedly ran out 1-0 winners.

Silsden Under-11's A were outplayed and out-fought in the quarter finals of the League Cup by a well organised Shipley team. The first 20 minutes of the game were even with Silsden going close through Jamie Berry and Richard Parker, hover, it was Shipley who took the lead and remained 1-0 up at half time.

In the secondhalf Shipley raised thetempo and scored threetimes to take a 4-0 lead. To their credit Silsden battled on with Seb Pietrovito scoring a consolation goal. Jamie Berry was man of the match.

Silsden Under-10's A got off to a slow start against before beating Ilkley 3-1. If it had not been for two outstanding saves from Phil Rishton the Silsden side couldhave been struggling, but they improved in the second half with Daniel McNulty opening the scoring. Two Ilkley 'own goals' put Silsden firmly in command. The man of the match award was shared by Rishton and McNulty.

Silsden Under-10's B again playedout a 2-2 draw with Ilkley B. Phil Rishton scored two great goals and also outstanding for silsden were Scott Havers, Chris Hextall andnew boy Nick McNally. The manof thematch award was shredby Phil Rishton and Scott Havers.

Oakworth Under-14's were host to Thornton Travellers in the quarter-finals of the League Cup and dominated with an impressive perforance to run out 9-1 winners. Man of the Match Michael Sisley scored four with Craig Wheater also scoring four and Marc Webster adding the odd goal. Oakworth are now through to the semi-finals of two cup competitions.

Silsden Under-15's clinched the last league game of the season, beating Thornbury 5-2. James Hattersley opened the scoring with a spectacular volley from Domonique Creed's corner. Thornbury equalised and five minutes from the interval Richard Campbell headed home Gott's corner.

They totally dominatedthe second half with Steve Gott scoring and Adam Whiteoak added a fourth.

Thornbury added a second with 10 minutes to go, but Ian Craven scored Silsden't fifth as time ran out. Adam Whiteoak was man of the match with good performances from Gavin Baluk, Ian Craven, Joe Blacka and James Hattersley.

The win means Silsden have completed their third consecutive league title victory without losing a mtch. Leading scorers were Whiteoak 33, Usman 20, Gott 17 with numerous players having scored five or more. They have also reached their third consecutive League Cup final. Silsden have also been invited to play Grimsby Town Under-15's after one of their club scouts watched two or three recent matches.

Oakworth Under-8's beat table toppers Thornton 4-3 with Andrew Fox openingthe scoring before Thornton levelled just before the break. In the second period Oakworth took over with goals frommanof thematch Thomas Thompson and two from Kurtis Towler, one a brilliant free kick. The visitors replied twice, but Oaks held firm with Dale Hawker outstanding in midfield.

Current League Cup holders, Long Lee Under-14's a continued their campaign in a quarter-final clash with Ilkley. Sean Duffy gave Long Lee and early lead and two more were added in the second half by Simon Perryman and Matthew Dykes. Rob Davison was man of the match.

Oakworth Under-10's moved in to the semi-finals of the League Cup by defeating Skipton LMS 4-1. Captain Harvey Sharpe held Oakworth's defence together. Scorers were Thomas Wallbank (2), James Thompson and William Lee.

Oakworth Under-11 B and Cowling shared the points in an excellent match which ended 101. Jack Emmott forced home a corner from Adam Hargreaves and Cowling equalised with a well taken goal late in the first half.

Oaks created plenty of chnaces in the second half, but the Cowling defence stood firm. Keeper Matt Masters made two good saves late in the game to keep out Cowling and Jack Williams was man of the match.

Long Lee Under-11's saw their undefeated run come to an end when they were beaten 3-2 by Menston in the quarter-final of the League Cup. A very good spirited performance by all the players saw Nathan Beattie get both Long Lee's goals and the man of the match award.

Long Lee under-7's signed off a very successful first season with an emphatic 6-0 win at Gomersal. Goals came from hat-trick hero Jack Moorby, Tom Tetley, Patrick King and a first of the season from Joe Park. Midfielders Matthew Miller and Tim Quinlan controlled throughout.

Manager Ray Rickaby said: "It's been a very satisfying first season and I wouldlike to thank all the parents for their continued support."

Long Lee Under-8's produced a below-par performance in their shock defeat at home to Guiseley. Adam Spencer and Callum Whitker netted for Long Lee in the 3-2 defeat. Coming from two down Long Lee pulled level but Guiseley snatched a late winner.

Oakworth Under-16's beat Rawdon 2-0 and leapfrogged over them to the top of the table. After a goalless first half Oaks layed siege to Rawdon's goal, but10 minutes had gone before Mick Whitney headed home the first goal. Capozio calmly slsoted home the second. Oaks should have had two more goals, but one was ruled out for offside and another was judged not to have crossed the line.

A skilful by Oakworth Under-12s B in their Craven Cup quarter-final against third placed Section A team, Silsden. The Oaks were unlucky to go behind to the only shot Silsden had before the break. Playing with even more spirit and determination in the second period, Oakworth kept Silsden on the back foot and had it not been for a towering performance from the Silsden No 4 the Oakworth forwards would have capitalised on excellent approach play by Luke Scott, Adam Clewes and man of the match Chris Dunn. Although Oakworth forced eight second half corners the Silsden defence held out to win 1-0.
