A 32-year-old man appeared before Bradford Crown Court on Wednesday, accused of two offences of attempted murder following a shooting incident in Silsden on New Year's Eve.
During a brief hearing, Veljko Cerovic pleaded not guilty to attempting to murder 21-year-old Sarah Stronach and her boyfriend Philip Little, 30.
He also denied possessing a semi-automatic handgun with intent to endanger life.
The charges follow a disturbance at a house in Taylor Avenue on New Year's Eve when a gunshot was fired.
Cerovic, formerly of Dorset Terrace, Harehills, Leeds, but now of no fixed abode, was remanded in custody and the case was adjourned until next month.
