An American woman has asked the Keighley News to help trace her family tree.

Barbara Oberlee says she is seeking information on the Taylor and Wildman families.

John Taylor is believed to have been born in Keighley on November 10, 1855, and is thought to have married a woman called Clara. John was later killed in a motorcycle accident. They had four children: Ada Taylor, born September 1868, died in the same year; Clara Taylor, born July 1870 and died the same month. The others were Albert and William Taylor.

John Taylor had a younger sister, Elizabeth Ann, who married John Holmes. They had two daughters: Ivy Holmes married Vernon Henry and they moved to Canada, while Lillian Holmes married George Wildman. They had three children - William, Audry and Kenneth.

Anyone with information should write to Barbara at 2165 Carol Drive, Lapeer, Michigan 48446, USA.
