TWINS Cameron and Alister Scott are over the moon after winning every football fan's dream - World Cup tickets - but their sister has been relegated to exam misery.

The brothers are heading for France on June 14 to see England's opening game in Marseille.

But Lorraine has been subbed to remain at home and take a vital GCSE exam.

The lucky pair won four tickets for the England-Tunisia game in a competition on kids' telly programme 'Mashed'.

Now the Prince Henry's Grammar School boys, from Eccup Lane, Adel, are gearing up for a VIP trip of a lifetime with dad Hamish and their uncle, Derek.

Cameron, 14, said: "It's great, when we found out we were just running around the house and shouting 'yeah!'. Mum and dad were out and we couldn't wait to tell them.

"Now all my friends want tickets as well."

Alister, a keen footballer with Pool Juniors, said he couldn't wait for the action to start.

Poor Lorraine, 16, is, in football terminology, sick as a parrot.

She said: "I am disappointed. I'm not into football as much as Alister and Cameron, but I would have liked to have gone with them. As it is, my last exam is on the 16th - the day after the game."

It was Cameron's head for footie facts which set them on their way to Marseille.

He knew that Iran had knocked Australia out of the qualifying matches for the famous tournament.

"I phoned up and gave the answer and then later in the day they phoned back and said we were in a shortlist of ten," said Cameron.

"We found that we'd won on Tuesday and we couldn't believe it."

And not only have they got their hands on the tickets - which have been like gold dust for England fans - they will also enjoy five star treatment in France, taking the Eurostar to Paris the day before the

match.

There, they will have posh nosh in Planet Hollywood and a two-hour sightseeing tour of the capital. The famous 'Bullet' train will speed them to Marseille on June 15 to see Hoddle's boys in action.

Mum Susan said she had tried to stop the lads entering 'phone competitions. "I've told them off for it in the past but we weren't in. I couldn't believe it when we got back.

"They're really excited but Lorraine can't go, her GCSEs are important. I have promised her a trip to London instead."

And it's not just the twins who are excited about their dream trip. Susan said: "My husband and brother are besides themselves - they're worse than the boys are."
